Working as an Outreach Practitioner your role will be to provide high quality counselling and group work to young people and adults who have experienced hardship and/or trauma as a result of the Queensland floods.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work or Psychology
- Eligibility for membership with the AASW or APS
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the development and delivery of therapeutic and psycho-social educational groups
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to undertake the travel that is associated with an outreach position
- Current drivers licence
- Rights to live and work in Australia
