An exciting job opportunity has arisen within one of Queensland’s major Coal Mines in the Bowen Basin for a Mobile Maintenance Supervisor. This DIDO opportunity would suit an experienced Maintenance Supervisor and offers an attractive roster, career growth and a market competitive salary.

With relevant extensive experience in mobile maintenance supervision you will assist in the supervision and mentoring of maintenance trade personnel to ensure budgetary targets are met or exceeded regarding environmental, productivity, health and safety etc. A key accountability of this role will be the close coordination and mentoring of maintenance personnel whilst providing leadership and technical expertise to ensure targets are met or exceeded. With expert knowledge of diggers, loaders, graders etc you will be responsible for supervising the maintenance carried out on the entire fleet of mobile equipment on site.

Appropriate Trade Qualifications in a mechanical trade or a mechanical engineering qualification and your ability to be a ‘hands on’ supervisor are a key accountability of this role. As a successful candidate you will have previous experience in a coal mining environment. Your effective communication, leadership and organisations skills will be crucial in effectively managing several functions simultaneously.
